1. 检查;审查;核实
    If you check something such as a piece of information or a document, you make sure that it is correct or satisfactory.

    e.g. Check the accuracy of everything in your CV...
           请核对简历中的每个细节，务必准确无误。
    e.g. It's worth checking each item for obvious flaws...
           有必要逐件检查一下是否有明显的瑕疵。

2. 检查，查看(以确保一切正常)
    If you check on someone or something, you make sure they are in a safe or satisfactory condition.

    e.g. Stephen checked on her several times during the night...
           斯蒂芬夜里起来看了她好几遍。
    e.g. He decided to check on things at the warehouse.
           他决定去仓库查看一下。

3. 在…上打钩（以确定其正确、已选定或已处理）
    If you check something that is written on a piece of paper, you put a mark, like a V with the right side extended, next to it to show that something is correct or has been selected or dealt with.

    e.g. Frequently, men who check answer (b) have not actually had the experience of being repeatedly rejected by women.
           多数情况下，选(b)的男人没有真的尝过三番五次被女人拒绝的滋味。
