If you scold someone, you speak angrily to them because they have done something wrong.
e.g. If he finds out, he'll scold me...
如果他知道了，肯定会责骂我的。
e.g. Later she scolded her daughter for having talked to her father like that...
后来她训斥女儿不应该那样对父亲说话。
