1. 伤害;损伤
    An injury is damage done to a person's or an animal's body.

    e.g. Four police officers sustained serious injuries in the explosion...
           4名警官在爆炸中受重伤。
    e.g. The two other passengers escaped serious injury.
           另外两名乘客逃过一劫，未受重伤。

2. (感情、名誉上的)伤害,损害
    If someone suffers injury to their feelings, they are badly upset by something. If they suffer injury to their reputation, their reputation is seriously harmed.

    e.g. She was awarded £3,500 for injury to her feelings.
           她判得 3,500 英镑精神损失赔偿。
