    Something that is cold has a very low temperature or a lower temperature than is normal or acceptable.

    e.g. Rinse the vegetables under cold running water...
           用凉的自来水清洗这些蔬菜。
    e.g. He likes his tea neither too hot nor too cold...
           他想要杯不凉不热的茶。
