1. 通信
    Correspondence is the act of writing letters to someone.

    e.g. The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into...

3. 相似;关联
    If there is a correspondence between two things, there is a close similarity or connection between them.

    e.g. In African languages there is a close correspondence between sounds and letters.
