1. 穿;戴;佩戴
    When you wear something such as clothes, shoes, or jewellery, you have them on your body or on part of your body.

    e.g. He was wearing a brown uniform...
           他当时穿着褐色的制服。
    e.g. I sometimes wear contact lenses...
           我有时戴隐形眼镜。

2. 留着，蓄着(发、须等)
    If you wear your hair or beard in a particular way, you have it cut or styled in that way.

    e.g. She wore her hair in a long braid...
           她梳着一根长辫子。
    e.g. He wore a full moustache.
           他留着浓密的八字须。

3. 呈现，流露出（…表情）
    If you wear a particular expression, that expression is on your face and shows the emotions that you are feeling.

    e.g. When we drove through the gates, she wore a look of amazement...
           我们驶过大门时，她流露出惊讶的神情。
    e.g. Millson's face wore a satisfied expression.
           米尔森一脸的心满意足。

4. (特定时候或场合穿的)服装
    You use wear to refer to clothes that are suitable for a certain time or place. For example, evening wear is clothes suitable for the evening.

    e.g. The shop stocks an extensive range of beach wear...
           这家商店备有各式各样的沙滩服装。
    e.g. Bring informal casual wear.
           带上休闲的衣服。

5. 耐用性;使用率;使用形式
    Wear is the amount or type of use that something has over a period of time.

    e.g. You'll get more wear out of a hat if you choose one in a neutral colour...
           如果你选个中性颜色的帽子，戴的时间会更多一些。
    e.g. Rugs in the bedrooms got much less wear.
           卧室里的小毯子用得少多了。
