1. 嘲笑;取笑;嘲弄
    To tease someone means to laugh at them or make jokes about them in order to embarrass, annoy, or upset them.

    e.g. He told her how the boys in East Poldown had set on him, teasing him...
           他告诉她东波尔顿的男孩们是如何攻击他、嘲笑他的。
    e.g. He teased me mercilessly about going Hollywood...
           他毫不留情地嘲笑我想去好莱坞。
