1. 疼的;疼痛的
    If part of your body is sore, it causes you pain and discomfort.

    e.g. It's years since I've had a sore throat like I did last night...
           我的喉咙已经好几年没有像昨晚那样疼了。
    e.g. My chest is still sore from the surgery.
           手术过后我的胸口还在作痛。
