1. 重要性;意义
    The significance of something is the importance that it has, usually because it will have an effect on a situation or shows something about a situation.

    e.g. Ideas about the social significance of religion have changed over time...
           关于宗教的社会意义的看法已经随着时间的变迁而改变。
    e.g. A sacred site might be a mountain that is of some significance to a tribe.
           对一个部落有重大意义的一座山峰可能就是一处圣地。
