    If someone is rash or does rash things, they act without thinking carefully first, and therefore make mistakes or behave foolishly.

    e.g. It would be rash to rely on such evidence...
           依靠这样的证据是草率的。
    e.g. Mr. Major is making no rash promises...
           梅杰先生没有作出轻率的承诺。
