    If you are grateful for something that someone has given you or done for you, you have warm, friendly feelings towards them and wish to thank them.

    e.g. She was grateful to him for being so good to her...
           他对她这么好，令她很感激。
    e.g. I should like to extend my grateful thanks to all the volunteers.
           我想对所有的志愿者致以衷心的谢意。
