    If you adore someone, you feel great love and admiration for them.

    e.g. She adored her parents and would do anything to please them.
           她很爱自己的父母，为让他们高兴愿意做任何事。

2. 热爱，喜爱(某事物）
    If you adore something, you like it very much.

    e.g. My mother adores bananas and eats two a day...
           我妈妈非常喜欢吃香蕉，每天要吃两根。
    e.g. I adore good books and the theatre.
           我爱读好书，也喜欢看戏。
