1. 沉湎于,唠叨,赘述(尤指令人不快的事)
    If you dwell on something, especially something unpleasant, you think, speak, or write about it a lot or for quite a long time.

    e.g. I'd rather not dwell on the past.
           我不想再沉湎于过去了。

2. 居住;栖身
    If you dwell somewhere, you live there.

    e.g. They are concerned for the fate of the forest and the Indians who dwell in it...
           他们为这片森林及居住于其中的印第安人的命运而担心。
    e.g. Shiva is a dark god; he dwells in the mountains and deserts.
           湿婆神匿影藏形于深山和沙漠之中。
