    When something dissipates or when you dissipate it, it becomes less or becomes less strong until it disappears or goes away completely.

    e.g. The tension in the room had dissipated...
           房间里的紧张气氛消失了。
    e.g. He wound down the windows to dissipate the heat.
           他摇下窗子来散热。
